Anderson’s Corner Animal Hotel

We are proud to offer the community an “animal hotel” that offers many of the same qualities of home. We also offer daycare that includes all of the same care and amenities extended to our overnight boarders. We have a caretaker on premises even after business hours. So you can put your mind at ease while you are away on vacation, business, etc. Having 24 hour monitoring also allows for late night walks and that extra attention that your pet deserves. We hope this is never the case, but an ICU is adjacent to the boarding pets just in case a medical or emergency treatment is needed.

Sanitation

Maintaining a sanitary environment is one of the most difficult undertakings involved with animal hospitals and pet boarding facilities. Observing the following high standards allows for a clean, safe environment for your pet, and also helps minimize the spread of common conditions such as tracheobronchitis (Kennel Cough) and feline upper respiratory infections. To further ensure that your pet is in a sanitary environment, we require that all of their vaccinations and heartworm/fecal tests are up to date.

• To assure no cross contamination, we have invested in the most advanced kennel trench drain flushing system currently available
• Troweled epoxy floors that allow no residue after cleaning
• A hospital grade air filtration system
• Every dog is walked and exercised throughout the day as well as into the night. We allow them to individually run a fenced yard without a leash to release any pent up energy. This also allows us to appropriately clean their suites for their return

Canine Suites

We have 3 suite sizes that you can choose from. They all have more than enough room, and your pet will keep that exact suite throughout their stay. Every pet at Anderson’s Corner Animal Hospital is treated as a VIP. Feel free to leave any special blankets or toys for them during their stay. Every pet has their own cubby to house any treats, special diets, medications, etc. Please let us know if you would like your companion bathed or groomed the day of pick up.

The following are a few specifics regarding our boarding accommodations:

• Spacious suites designed by Shor-line allow your pet to get up and “stretch their legs” and easily move around whenever they desire. All pets have comfortable beds with blankets
• 2/3 glass front doors help to avoid a “boxed in” feel, yet allow privacy for when your pet is resting
• Music and warm colors to minimize stress
• Walls and ceilings designed to allow for minimal sound echo
• Large fenced outdoor exercise area

Feline Suites

We have dedicated a separate feline room that is located in a region of the hospital that allows them to view the adjacent woods and all the birds, squirrels, etc. They will reside in condo-style suites that can be adjoined if you have more than one feline guest staying with us. Every cat is allowed individualized time in our separate play room. This room is surrounded by oversized picture windows, and includes multiple perches and toys for your cat to enjoy. As with our canine companions, every cat receives individualized care and there is always a caretaker looking after them day and night. • Music fills the room to help your feline companion have as comfortable a stay as possible
• Ventilation system to allow for numerous fresh air exchanges throughout the day and evening
• This separate feline boarding area has sound proof walls to help minimize stress
• Each cat condo allows plenty of room for your feline companion to move around
• Over-sized picture windows are present to allow a view of the woods, birds, squirrels, etc. and to allow natural sunlight into the room
• There is a kitty play room that every cat has the opportunity to use individually on a daily basis

Typical Day at the Anderson’s Corner Animal Hotel

The day begins with a morning walk, which is followed by breakfast. Then we have mid-day as well as afternoon walks. Much of this time is spent off of a leash within a large fenced in area that is encircled by woods and shade. This allows them to run and play to release any pent up energy. Dinner is then served in the evening, followed by a walk at dusk and a moonlight walk later in the evening.
