We may see a wide variety of emergencies on a daily basis. Emergencies can essentially involve any organ system of the body. Just a few examples of emergency situations are heat stroke, toxin ingestion, lacerations, trauma, metabolic emergencies, foreign bodies, bleeding disorders, dystocia, burns, etc. We cannot stress strongly enough that if you think that your pet may be having a medical emergency, please call us immediately, no matter what time of the day or night. At the very least, we hope to be able to provide you with peace of mind should we feel your pet is not in danger. Walk-in emergencies are always welcome. It is always better to be safe than sorry.
